CH2M HILL reaches out to communities by helping to improve them through technical services, volunteerism, strategic partnerships, and community leadership. Employees participating in the community outreach programs embody a spirit of service and bring their time, passion and expertise to creating a positive impact on societal issues.
Inspiring the Workforce of the Future
Many of CH2M HILL’s community outreach efforts focus on educating and inspiring young people to become part of the skilled workforce for the future. Each year, CH2M HILL employees reach out to communities by playing a leadership role in “National Engineers Week” (E-Week) a program designed to help ensure a diverse and well-educated future engineering workforce by increasing understanding of and interest in engineering careers.
Improving Lives in Developing Countries
Since 1991, CH2M HILL employees have partnered with a community outreach program called Water For People. It is an international non-profit organization committed to increasing access to safe, sustainable drinking water and improving sanitation and health in developing communities.
