CH2M HILL, ranked #1 Environmental firm by ENR, is seeking a Business Development Manager for our Calgary office. This position will grow the Water & Process division for Western Canada, a key market segment to the Industrial Systems group.
Our integrated water management service incorporates all elements of water use across the entire water envelope of an industrial facility – water source & supply, water treatment & distribution, in-plant water use, and wastewater treatment & discharge – while minimizing environmental, economic, and societal impacts.
The successful candidate will be involved with client development in coordination with our enterprise account teams. This sales leader will become a core part of CH2M HILL's global Industrial Water & Process Leadership Team, with a focus on growing clients through quality delivery. This p osition will also include development of internal relationships to support the overall growth and success of CH2M HILL operations in Western Canada, mentoring mid-level staff, supporting cross-business unit activities and stewarding client satisfaction.
The focus for this role are large engineering and EPC(M) projects in the industrial and energy industries including water/wastewater and Oil Sands.

Preferred Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
* BS Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering or Chemical Engineering * Minimum 10 years experience business development of industrial water/wastewater engineering and/or EPC(M) projects * Demonstrated history of growing new, productive relationships * Prior experience selling large engineering design and construction of industrial water/wastewater systems or Oil Sands process work (>$1 million US dollars) * Experience leading clients through the entire capital projects process is critical, from consulting through construction. Preferred Qualifications * MS Civil, Environmental or Chemical Engineering with emphasis on wastewater or water treatment * 20+ years of experience * Professional License: Registered Professional Engineer * Physical/chemical water/wastewater, high TDS treatment technology, broad industrial water systems technology experience is a plus * Networking within industry organizations, technical seminars and trade shows, including delivery of technical presentations, is a plus. * Experience with Oil & Gas regulatory permitting is a plus.
