Job Description:
The Santa Ana CH2M HILL Office is seeking a talented, experienced Geotechnical Engineer to support transportation, water/wastewater, and solid waste infrastructure projects throughout California and the South West region.

This unique position will provide the successful candidate with the opportunity to participate in assignments including;
Construction inspection and subsurface investigation.
Subsurface characterization, analysis of testing results, design of shallow and deep foundations, earth retaining structures, slope stability analysis and tunneling.
Preparation of technical reports and plans and specifications.

Basic Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications: Masters Degree in Geotechnical Engineering. Experience with computer programs including GRLWEAP, LPILE, PCSTABLE or SLIDE or SLOPE/W, DRIVEN OR SHAFT. Work well in a team setting. 5 years minimum previous work experience.


Degree Required: MA/MS

Certification Required: EIT

Preferred Qualifications:
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with computer programs including FB-PIER or FLAC. Previous work experience will be between 5 and 10 years. Registered Professional Engineer in California, or ability to obtain registration within 6 months of hire or planning to take test within 1 year. CA GE considered a plus.
